Mike Atkins. B.Sc., R.P.Bio
Lead Biologist

Mike began his career as a shellfish biologist for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in 2004.
After taking a break to travel the world, he founded Trident Biological Consulting Ltd. in 2008. Since then he has worked on a wide variety of marine scientific projects.
Mike enjoys spending time with his family, and is a proud member of the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue station in Nanaimo
Grant Dovey. B.Sc.
Biologist

Grant has worked as a dive biologist on projects throughout the Pacific northwest for nearly two decades. He brings a wealth of underwater knowledge and experience to the Trident team.
Grant excels at project design and logistics; as well as policy and regulations. He is very charasmatic and is an excellent dive supervisor.

Kevin White.
Cinematographer, Diver
​​
Kevin has had a storied career as a diver, sub mariner, film and television producer, and commercial sea food harvester. He has dove in many corners of the globe, and has filmed for Discovery and Nation Geographic.
Kevin is our lead for all underwater filming projects, and is a asset on all dive projects.
