Environmental

 

Embarking on a new development? Looking to expand infrastructure, investigate impacts of existing structures, or conduct habitat restoration work? Trident B.C. is qualified to conduct foreshore and subtidal habitat assessments for proposed and existing developments that meet standards set by Environment Canada and other regulating agencies. We also provide a variety of marine habitat restoration services, including having completed a number of successful eelgrass transplants.

 

We are experienced in conducting the following:

  • Subtidal and foreshore surveys

  • Log dump surveys

Fisheries Research

 

Trident B.C. specializes in marine research projects up and down the BC coast, including ongoing fisheries monitoring and research on a variety of species. In addition, we assist companies and researchers with various services, including specimen, water and sediment sample collection; boat tending; underwater filming and photography; ROV services; and much more!

 

We specialize in, but are not limited to, research and stock assessments of the following species:

  • Herring Spawn Assessments

Dive Services

 

With divers commercially certified in both SCUBA and Surface-Supplied diving, we are capable of completing just about any dive work needed, in any environment.

 

Mike, our lead biologist, is likely one of the only surface-supplied trained Registered Profesional Biologists (R.P.Bio) in B.C. leaving Trident B.C. as a prime candidate for survey work done in an overhead or hazardous environment.
